Naomie Joseph, DSW, MSW, LCSW, EMDR
Naomie received her Doctorate of Social Work from Capella University. Her dissertation focused on mental health stigma education, was completed and published with excellence. Naomie completed her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and Interdisciplinary Traineeship on Developmental Disability from The Elizabeth M. Boggs Center. Naomie takes a Person-Centered approach to meet the needs of clients, and has been providing counseling and adult case management services for 8 years in outpatient, school, and prison settings to adolescents, couples, and adults. She has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, fully trained in EMDR, and works with people who have experienced abuse and trauma across their lifespan. Naomie is a 13-year veteran of the US Army with fluency in English and Haitian Creole and a proficiency in French. Naomie provides outpatient services to adults at Monarch Freedom Counseling offices.
